It is very easy to forget a password, so we have made it as simple as possible to reset your password, whether you are a Subject applying for a DBS, or a Customer who needs to view results.
Requesting a New Password
First of all, navigate to https://app.personnelchecks.co.uk/auth/password-reset and enter your email address. When you press send an email will be sent to that address with further instructions.
The email will contain a link which you will click to reset your password.
Please note - this link is only valid for five days, and after which a new link will need to be requested.
It will also invalidate when a new password is set, or a new link requested.
Setting Your Password
When you click the link, a page like the below will load. This is where you will enter your password.
We take data security very seriously, so passwords need to meet the following criteria:
- Must be at least nine characters long
- Must contain both upper and lower case letters
- Must include a tleast one special character (eg: , . ! ? @)
- Must not include part of your name or company name
- Must not be a generic password - e.g Password123!
Following these steps, you will be able to reset your password with ease.
