When performing Identity Verification on DBS applications, you may discover that an address has been entered incorrectly. To amend addresses previously you had to delete the entire address and re-add.
Information could easily be re-entered incorrectly between deletion and re-adding, or human error could result in more mistakes, causing unnecessary delays.
To improve this, we have enabled the ability to edit individual fields of addresses, instead of having to completely replace them.
If you need to edit any address details, navigate to the "Edit Case Related Data" tab, you will now notice three dots next to each address with two options, edit or delete
When edit is selected, the ability to edit the address provided appears. All you need to do is amend the information required, and press save.
Note - it is not possible to edit the dates, only Line 1, 2 Town, County & Postcode.
It is also possible to fill in any gaps on the address history in the same manner.
We hope that this will help you when verifying documents in future.
